Ecovacs Deebot X12 Pro Omni: is the robot vacuum and mop worth €699?

Updated 30 October 2026Shop price as of 29/10/2026, 19:30

Short answer

Yes, if mopping hard floors is your priority. The OZMO Roller 3.0 roller mop with FocusJet spray and warm-water washing in the dock mops very well in tests, and obstacle avoidance is reliable. Downsides are long cleaning runs, average corner and carpet results and the dust bag in the dock. At €699 it costs about €200 less than the identical X12 OmniCyclone with a bagless dock.

Who is the Deebot X12 Pro Omni for?

In favour

  • Very good mopping thanks to the roller mop and FocusJet for stains
  • Dock washes the roller with warm water and dries it with hot air
  • Reliable obstacle avoidance (AIVI 3D), ZeroTangle against hair wrap
  • Supports Matter and Apple Home

Against

  • Long cleaning runs, corners only average
  • Only average on carpet and with hair in carpet
  • Dock uses dust bags (running costs), navigation rated only fair in testing

A good fit if …

Homes with lots of laminate, parquet or tiles that mainly want thorough mopping and a dock that washes the roller.

Skip it if …

Homes with lots of deep-pile carpet, anyone who wants fast runs or no dust bags.

Frequently asked questions: Ecovacs Deebot X12 Pro Omni robot vacuum and mop (22

How good is it on carpet?

Decent but not outstanding: tests of the identical OmniCyclone scored 80/100 on carpet and 77 on deep pile, and hair in carpet was only partly picked up. The roller lifts on carpet; use no-go zones for deep pile.

Is it good for pet hair?

On hard floors yes, it picked up all hair on laminate in testing. ZeroTangle is meant to prevent wrapping. It is weaker with hair in carpet.

What is the difference to the X12 OmniCyclone?

The robot is identical. The OmniCyclone has a bagless dock, the Pro Omni dock collects dust in a bag and costs about €200 less.

What are the running costs?

Dust bags, cleaning solution and replacement roller, side brushes and filters.

Alternatives from current deals

The identical Ecovacs X12 OmniCyclone has a bagless dock for about €200 more. The cheaper Dreame L10s Pro Gen3 from current deals uses mop pads; high-end rivals such as the MOVA Z70 Ultra Roller Complete or Roborock Saros 20 cost considerably more.
