Short answer

On a budget and mostly vacuuming? Take the Roborock Q10 S5+ with auto-empty dock. Best value is the Roborock Qrevo S Pro, whose dock washes the mops with hot water and dries them. The Roborock Qrevo Edge 2 is the slimmest at under 8 cm and cleans carpets most thoroughly. The Shark PowerDetect UV Reveal spots stains with a UV camera and avoids obstacles best, but it is pricey and loud.

How we compared

We did not test these robots ourselves. Specs and results come from manufacturers and independent reviews (netzwelt, Notebookcheck, home&smart, basic-tutorials, Vacuum Wars, Expert Reviews); prices are our deal prices from 28 Oct 2026. Where sources disagree, we say so.

Auto-empty or full dock?

An auto-empty dock only empties the dust bin. A full dock also washes and dries the mops, which saves work and prevents smelly pads.

Reading Pa ratings

Suction in pascal is a maker's figure and says little about real cleaning. Rely more on test results for carpet and pet hair.

Measure the height

Check the clearance under sofa and bed. Most robots with a laser tower are almost 10 cm tall; the Qrevo Edge 2 fits under low furniture.

Running costs

Bags, mops, filters and brushes need replacing. Bagless docks like Shark's save bags but need emptying more often.
